Hilton Head Vacation Rental Companies

These are the Hilton Head rental companies that manage vacation homes, condos and villas on the island, grouped by what each one rents. Every card has the company’s phone number and a link to its page, with the rest of what it offers.
How to Use the Rental Company Directory
A Hilton Head rental company is a property manager: it lists an owner’s home, takes the booking, cleans between guests and answers the phone during your stay. Rental agencies and vacation rental companies on the island differ less in the homes than in the service, the fees and the part of the island they know best. This page lists 46 of them. A card carrying HHI.com partner marks the 2 companies we work with directly, listed first in each group. Booking always happens on the company’s own site.
Start from the address
The community sets the beach, the gate pass and the neighbors. Two homes with the same bedroom count can be a bike ride or a drive apart from the sand.
Ask for the total
Cleaning, resort and processing fees, and taxes, differ from company to company. Compare the final total for your dates, not the nightly rate.
Read the cancellation and pet rules
Refund windows vary, and so does every pet rule. If a dog is coming, filter for it first: the dog-friendly rentals page shows who does.
Check the minimum stay
Peak-summer weeks usually run Saturday to Saturday. Spring and fall stays are shorter and more flexible.
Companies That Rent Across the Whole Island
Most rental companies on Hilton Head are not tied to one community. They manage homes, villas and condos in Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, Shipyard, Forest Beach and beyond, so one call or one search covers several parts of the island. Ask each for the address before you book, since the community decides the beach, the gate and the pass.

Resort-Run Rental Programs
A few rentals are managed by the resort that owns the amenities: the Sea Pines Resort, Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort and the Beach & Tennis Resort. Guests of these programs use the resort’s own check-in, and the amenities come through it.
Sea Pines Specialists
These companies concentrate on Sea Pines, at the island’s southern tip. The full list of companies that rent there, including the whole-island ones above, is on the Sea Pines rental companies page. See sea pines rental companies.
South-End Condos and Homes
This company focuses on the south end of the island: the condos and homes around Forest Beach, and in Sea Pines and Shipyard. The Forest Beach page covers the neighborhood, and the beach-area pages cover each stretch of sand from Coligny to Burke’s Beach. See forest beach rentals.
Boutique and Luxury Collections
These companies describe a smaller, curated portfolio of styled or exclusive homes rather than the whole market. Ask what is included, since the collection’s standards, and its price, differ from a general rental.

National Brands and Search Sites
Some names that turn up in a search work well beyond Hilton Head. Vacasa, Dwell, iTrip and AvantStay manage homes here as part of a wider portfolio, and VacationRenter.com is a search platform that gathers listings from several providers rather than a manager.

More Ways to Choose a Rental
If you already know where you want to wake up, go by area: each beach stretch, each resort community and each villa complex has its own rentals page. Property owners weighing a manager, rather than guests picking one, will find that side on the property management page; a company that would like to be listed here can get in touch through HHI.com.
