Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort, HHBT for short, is a condominium resort at 40 Folly Field Road, on the beach on the north side of the island. Its villas are owned by individuals, and many are rented out, so you can stay here through the resort’s front desk, through an owner or through a rental company. Some are also sold.
Guests choose it for the combination: a beach with a boardwalk, three pools, tennis and a restaurant on site. The resort’s own site sorts its rental villas into Ocean Villas and Tennis Villas.
Villas
Villas are one- or two-bedroom, with a kitchen, a balcony and a living area with a sleeper sofa. Oceanfront, ocean-view and resort-view villas are available, and the tennis villas are a longer walk to the beach. The villas are older and guests sometimes find them dated, so read the listing for your unit. Admiral’s Row is the oceanfront condo building on the grounds and has its own page. The resort’s Ocean Villas buildings are not the same as Hilton Head Ocean Villas, a separate rental company with villas in Forest Beach.
Pools, Tennis and the Beach
The pool area is large, with three outdoor pools and a children’s pool, and the beach is reached by a boardwalk. Tennis courts are on site, and bikes and beach gear can be rented.
Renting or Buying Here
Because the villas are individually owned, rental rates differ from unit to unit, and owners also list on rental sites. If you are thinking of owning, real estate on Hilton Head covers how buying works, and the resort’s villas come up for sale from time to time.
