Fireworks on Hilton Head Island come in four kinds: HarbourFest's show at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina on summer Tuesday nights, the two Fourth of July shows, New Year's Eve, and a fireworks cruise you watch from the water. Most of the year there are none, so the summer Tuesday show is the one most visitors ask about when they search for fireworks tonight.

HarbourFest runs from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, with fireworks over the harbour on Tuesdays: June 9, 16, 23 and 30, July 7, 14, 21 and 28, and Aug. 4, 11 and 18 in 2026. Come early for the harbour's live entertainment. HarbourFest asks that you leave drones at home.

Fireworks over the lighthouse and Calibogue Sound after the Gregg Russell concert, with public parking and shuttles set up that afternoon.
New Year's Eve fireworks
Harbour Town's New Year's Eve celebration is built around two ball drops, at 7 p.m. and midnight, and Sea Pines doesn't mention fireworks in its listing.
