Burkes Beach Road runs off William Hilton Parkway near Port Royal Plantation. The public way to the sand is the Burkes Beach access at 60 Burkes Beach Road, a boardwalk over the dunes. There is no lot at the access itself.
Cars park at Chaplin Community Park, at 35 Castnet Drive (246 paid spaces and 12 accessible spaces), with a second lot at 2 Castnet Drive off Singleton Beach Road (136 paid spaces and 4 accessible). If your rental comes with its own parking, use it and walk to the boardwalk.
The paid-parking rates are $3 an hour on weekdays and $5 an hour on weekends, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., paid in the Town’s parking app. At Chaplin Community Park it is enforced from mid-May through Labor Day.
