Hilton Head has spas inside the big resorts, day spas in the shopping centers, small massage studios on the side streets and a couple of medical spas for injectables and skin treatments. Resort Spas on Hilton Head Island
Most of the island’s resorts have a spa on site. Spa Soleil at the Hilton Beachfront Resort is the one with a steam room and sauna and the longest day, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Westin’s Heavenly Spa and the Omni’s Ocean Tides Spa are both in Palmetto Dunes and Port Royal, and the Sonesta’s spa is in Shipyard. Namaste Spa runs the spa at Marriott’s Barony Beach Club and says it is open to people who are not staying there; for the others, ask when you call. In Sea Pines the spa is Le Spa.

Day Spas and Massage on Hilton Head
The independent spas are where most islanders go. Hilton Head Island Spa & Wellness and Moor Spa both do hydrafacials and facials alongside massage, and Moor adds the Austrian moor treatments and a halotherapy sauna. The Art of Massage and Yoga sends therapists and yoga teachers to your rental, and Fountain Spa does mobile massage too. FACES DaySpa is the facial and waxing specialist and The Indigo Spa is the full-service one with a serenity room. Royal Spa is the lower-priced massage with posted prices, and it is not Royal Nail Spa, a different business. Medical Spas on Hilton Head Island
A medical spa does the treatments a day spa does not: injectables, microneedling, laser and clinical facials. LUX at Shelter Cove is run by a physician and does injectables, laser and skin care by appointment. Serendipity A Medical Spa on Main Street is the esthetician-led one, with Hydrafacials and microneedling in its reviews. If you just want a facial or a hydrafacial without the medical side, Moor Spa and Hilton Head Island Spa & Wellness above do them in a day spa.

Choosing a Spa on Hilton Head
A massage in your rental: Fountain Spa and The Art of Massage and Yoga both come to you. A girls’ weekend: Spa Soleil has booked groups of five, and Fountain Spa takes groups of up to six. Open late: Royal Spa, Eden Massage Spa and Island Spa stay open until 9 p.m. Sunday: Spa Soleil, Namaste, Fountain Spa and Hilton Head Island Spa & Wellness are open. Skin: Moor Spa for a hydrafacial and FACES for a facial and waxing.
Book ahead in summer and spring break, and for any group. Most of the day spas are small, with only a few therapists on a given day, so a same-day massage is easier on a weekday.
