Skull Creek Marina
Skull Creek Marina (Safe Harbor)

Yacht Clubs on Hilton Head
Three clubs, each in its own corner of the island. Two belong to a community; the third is open to members who do not own a boat.

Harbour Town Yacht Club in Sea Pines: what the private members' club is, its memberships and suites, whether visitors can go in, and how to reach it.

The South Carolina Yacht Club at Windmill Harbour, Hilton Head: a private club for sailing, dining, tennis and a pool. Membership, guests and where it is.
The Yacht Club of Hilton Head Island
Visit their site ↗A members’ club at 99 Helmsman Way, next to Palmetto Bay Marina, that does not require you to own a boat. It runs dinners, social events and sailing and boating programmes.
Slips, Fuel and Dry Storage
Most of the island’s marinas are small private docks that serve one community, so the ones open to the public are a short list. Broad Creek is the one with dry storage as well as wet slips, and it has a ship store, a mechanic and a body shop on site. Palmetto Bay has the deepest water on the island and takes the largest boats, and four restaurants sit on its docks. Both sell fuel. Harbour Town and Shelter Cove are the two big visitor harbours, with charters, shops and dining beside the docks.
Where to Launch Your Own Boat
A marina is where you keep or charter a boat; a boat landing is where you put a trailered boat in the water. The island’s public ramps, run by Beaufort County, are on the Hilton Head boat landings page. To rent a boat instead, see boat rentals and boat clubs.
Eating at a Marina
Boaters and landlubbers alike eat on the water: The Black Marlin, Carolina Crab Company and Palmetto Bay Sunrise Cafe at Palmetto Bay, Up the Creek Pub & Grill at Broad Creek, and Skull Creek Boathouse and Skull Creek Dockside on Skull Creek.
