Ocean View at Island Club is one of two timeshare resorts inside Island Club, the gated villa community at 85 Folly Field Road. Seawatch holds the buildings nearest the sand; Ocean View sits farther back, along the stocked lagoon in the middle of the grounds.
Its villas are owned as timeshare weeks, and open weeks are rented to guests. A stay here comes with the same beach entries, pools and tennis as the rest of Island Club.
The Villas
Ocean View has one- and two-bedroom villas looking over the lagoon and the three-tier pool. Each week is deeded on its own, so the same villa can belong to a different owner from one week to the next.
The Beach
The beach is a short walk from the building. Guests use Island Club’s five private beach entries, each with a ramp, beach mats and a rinse-off shower. Folly Field Beach Park, the nearest Town beach park, is just along the shore.
Pools, Tennis and Grounds
The three-tier pool by the Rotunda has a kids’ pool with bubblers and a raining mushroom, a lap pool with a waterfall that is heated in season, and an adults-only top tier with a hot tub. Pools are open from 7 AM to 10 PM. The Island Club Tennis Center, next to the resort, has seven clay courts and pickleball courts; call (843) 785-8012 for courts, lessons or bike rentals. Around the lagoon there are walking paths, a fire pit, hammocks, porch swings and fishing spots, with a playground and grills at the gazebo.
