Hungarian Festivals at Taste of Europe
Twice a year the restaurant hosts a Hungarian festival, with food inside the restaurant and vendors outside: the Hungarian Fall Festival in November and the Hungarian Easter Festival in spring. Past festivals ran from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday, November 9, 2024 for the fall festival and Saturday, April 12, 2025 for the Easter one.
Inside, the kitchen serves traditional dishes such as goulash, chicken paprikash, stuffed cabbage and Hungarian fried bread. Outside, vendors set up with Hungarian smoked sausage and salami, wine tasting, chimney cakes, poppyseed and walnut rolls and other pastries, spices, sauces and Hungarian paprika. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. On Wednesday and Saturday it opens for dinner only, 5 to 9 p.m. It is closed Sunday and Monday.
