Spinnaker at Shipyard is a resort of two-story, two-bedroom townhomes along the sixth and seventh fairways of the Brigantine nine at Shipyard Golf Club, with lagoons behind them. It sits on Barcelona Drive inside the gated Shipyard community on the south end of Hilton Head Island.
It is a timeshare resort, listed in the RCI exchange directory, and Hilton Head Accommodations rents the townhomes to the public by the week in season and for shorter stays in the cooler months.
The Townhomes at Spinnaker at Shipyard
Downstairs is an open living room with a large picture window, a TV and a sleeper sofa, and a kitchen with granite counters, a breakfast bar and a dining table. The decks look over the lagoon and the golf course. Upstairs, the main bedroom has high ceilings, a window seat and a bathroom with a skylight and a soaking tub, and the second bedroom has two twin beds and its own bathroom.
Linens, towels and starter supplies of soap, paper goods and detergent come with the unit, so plan to buy more for a longer stay.
Pool, Pickleball and Resort Amenities
The resort has a pool with cabanas and a hot tub, a splash pad and a playground for children, a putting green, pickleball courts, and a pavilion with grills by the lagoon.
Golf, Tennis and Bikes
Book directly with Hilton Head Accommodations and the stay comes with greens fees for up to four players a day at Shipyard Golf Club, whose 27 holes are the Clipper, Galleon and Brigantine nines. Cart fees still apply, and tee times open 72 hours ahead. Booking and Check-In
From March through September, stays run Saturday to Saturday. From October through February there is a four-night minimum. Check-in is at the Hilton Head Accommodations office at 20 Executive Park Road, Suite 200, not at the resort, and two Shipyard car passes come with the booking. Shipyard does not let in trailers, motor homes, motorcycles, boats or jet skis.
Pets are not allowed, apart from service animals, which the office asks to hear about before you arrive.

Spinnaker at Shipyard Map and Location
The townhomes are on Barcelona Drive in the middle of Shipyard, among the fairways and lagoons. The resort’s address is 10 Barcelona Drive; some maps, Google’s included, list it at 30 Barcelona Drive, which is a second address for the same resort. It is not on the beach: the Shipyard Beach Club and its beach are a bike ride away on the community’s paths, and Coligny Beach and Coligny Plaza, which the resort points guests to, are a short drive away.
