  • Beach: a resort shuttle and a free trolley stop nearby

Island Links is a villa resort at 1 Coggins Point Road inside Port Royal Plantation, on the northeast side of Hilton Head Island near Port Royal Sound. It is not in Sea Pines, and it is a quieter setting than the south end’s beach areas.

It belongs to Palmera Vacation Club, whose members stay on points, and it is one of six Palmera properties on the island. The others include Coral Sands, Coral Reef and Port O’Call.

The villas have two or three bedrooms, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer and TVs throughout. Reviewers describe them as spacious and well laid out, with clean grounds; some report noise from the unit above, so ask for a ground floor if that matters to you.

Pools, Clubhouse and Amenities

The resort has pools, with a heated one in the fall and winter, an exercise room and a clubhouse that runs activities. A concierge helps with local dining and things to do. Wi-Fi covers the resort.

Getting to the Beach

The resort runs a beach shuttle, and a free trolley stop is close by. Miles of bike paths run through Port Royal Plantation and the surrounding area for walking, running and cycling.

Golf and Tennis for Owners

Owners pay only cart fees for daily golf at Shipyard and Port Royal, including the Barony Course, and tennis is at the Port Royal Racquet Club.

Guests praise the clean, spacious villas, the well-kept grounds and pool areas, the quiet, and the friendly staff, especially the concierge. Noise from neighbouring units and the number of cats on the property come up in some reviews. The Google rating and our summary are at the top of this page.
