Pomodori is a small Italian restaurant at 1 New Orleans Road, tucked at the back of a strip of shops so that it faces the parking lot rather than the street. Chef Amanda trained in southern Italy’s Calabria, and the kitchen makes its pasta, sauces and desserts from scratch. It is the original location; a second, counter-service Pomodori Too is in Old Town Bluffton.

What to Order at Pomodori

Reviewers name the arancini and calamari to start, then the lasagna, the ragu over pappardelle, spaghetti with meatballs, chicken parmigiana and the orecchiette with sausage. Each meal comes with a portion of fresh baguette. Desserts are handmade, and the cannoli get their own mentions. The wine list is long for a room this size.
