The menu is painted on a yellow surfboard beside the window and covers the classics: drip and iced coffee, cold brew, lattes, flat whites, cortados and Americanos, with matcha and lemonade for anyone skipping caffeine and oat milk or flavored syrups as add-ons. The seasonal board is where the shop has fun, with summer drinks like the Island Breeze, Burke’s Bliss and Caught in the Surf. The beans come from a local island roaster and are brewed with spring water. Reviewers call the lattes excellent and the seasonal specials the reason to come back, and there are cake pops for kids.

Lines, Seating and Hours

Every drink is made to order, so expect a line on summer mornings; a sign along the queue tells you roughly how long the wait is from that point, and staff hand out free water, and bug spray, while you wait. The seating is all outdoors, on wooden benches and tables under the trees, with games to pass the time. Dogs are welcome and parking is free. It opens at 7 a.m. every day and closes between noon and 2 p.m. depending on the season, so treat it as a morning stop.

Getting There

Look for the silver trailer next to Barnacle Bill’s, whose owner runs the coffee shop with his partner, so you can pick up fish for dinner on the same stop.
