Sun and Moon Catering brings hibachi to your vacation rental. A chef arrives with a mobile teppanyaki grill, sets up on the patio or driveway, and cooks the meal in front of the group with the flame and the flips you would get at a hibachi restaurant, then packs up and cleans up. It works anywhere on Hilton Head, in Bluffton and Beaufort, with no travel fee.
Menus and Prices
There are three set menus, each with steak, chicken, shrimp, fried rice, vegetables, salad and sauce. Moon is $55 a guest, Sun is $75 with filet mignon, and Eclipse is $95 with lobster tail. Kids 12 and under are $30. Sushi platters can be added, and a sushi-and-hibachi combo starts at $85 a person.
There is no guest minimum, so a party of four is fine, but every event has a $550 minimum. Setup is $200 for the first ten guests and $10 for each one after, the $200 reservation fee goes toward it, and a 20 percent service charge plus tax is added. The price includes the chef, grill, ingredients, tables, chairs and place settings.
