Dunes Catering & Events
Dunes Catering & Events is the catering and events team of Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. It caters weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, holiday parties and corporate events at the resort’s own venues, and it also caters off site at a home or business.
Venues at Palmetto Dunes
The best known is The Dunes House, the resort’s oceanfront restaurant, whose deck and room hold about 120. Receptions also go to the Arthur Hills golf course (120 under a tent, or 160 in the clubhouse Veranda with its glass doors), Alexander’s on the lagoon (55 on the porch, 120 with the whole restaurant), the Shelter Cove Harbour Pavilion on the Intracoastal Waterway (150), the Centre Court Pavilion, an indoor event room (120) and the Toptracer Range (64 to 120). Palmetto Dunes’ 1879 lighthouse takes ceremonies and cocktails for 25.

Four sample packages set the tone. Lowcountry Love has deviled eggs, crab cakes, a shrimp boil and mustard barbecue pork loin; Tropical Island roasted snapper with mango salsa and a grilled strip; Beach Breeze Bliss blackened grouper fish tacos, fried green tomatoes and fried chicken; and Coastal Celebration coconut shrimp, lamb lollipops and chicken Francese. Menus are adjusted for each event, and prices are quoted.
