Most Sea Pines careers are with The Sea Pines Resort, which runs the Inn & Club at Harbour Town, more than 400 rental homes and villas, three 18-hole golf courses, eight restaurants and bars, and a conference center inside Sea Pines. Others work for the CSA, the association that runs the gates, security, trolley and maintenance, or for the independent shops and restaurants in Harbour Town, South Beach and the Sea Pines Center.

Sea Pines Resort Careers: Who Gets Hired

The resort’s job board had 31 openings when we looked. More than half were in food and beverage: servers, bartenders at Links and the Beach Club, line and pastry cooks, bussers, a host, a dishwasher and restaurant managers. Golf was next, with caddies, forecaddies, starters, pro shop staff and course maintenance. The rest were retail, a tennis pro shop attendant, a hotel bellman and shuttle driver, and a few office and management roles, from leisure reservations to IT.

There were full-time, part-time and seasonal posts, and two student internships, one in the kitchen and one front of house. The mix shifts with the season, so check the board rather than relying on this snapshot.

Sea Pines Jobs With the CSA

Another large employer is Sea Pines Community Services Associates, the nonprofit that looks after the roads, trails and lagoons and runs Sea Pines security. It has more than 110 staff in maintenance, security, transportation, community standards and administration, and offers health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) match after six months and paid time off after 90 days. Getting Through the Gate to Work

Working inside Sea Pines means passing a gate every day. Employees who drive can apply to the CSA for an annual decal, which is valid for the calendar year and handled online only. If you ride a bike to work, you need an employee bicycle pass: your manager fills in the form and you return it to the CSA office at 175 Greenwood Drive.
