Spicebush at Sea Pines is a timeshare community of two-bedroom townhouses on North Sea Pines Drive, right by the Atlantic Dunes golf course and within half a mile of the Sea Pines Beach Club. Owners buy specific weeks, and units come up for rent only now and then, so it takes some planning; what you get is a spot between the beach and three golf courses.

It is one of the villa and home rentals in Sea Pines we cover, and one of two here that sit outside the resort’s own rental program.

The Townhouses

The units share one floor plan: two bedrooms, each with its own bath, arranged for privacy, and a living and dining room under a vaulted ceiling, with a fold-out sofa. The primary bath has a skylight and a walk-in shower. Units are on several levels, and guests mention covered parking and decks over the pond.

How to Rent at Spicebush at Sea Pines, Hilton Head

Spicebush is run by The Club Group, which also manages Swallowtail and rents both under the Heritage Vacations name. Units come up only occasionally, so ask early for summer. You can check dates and book on the community’s own site (spicebushatseapines.com) or call 843-671-0409 about rentals. Once booked, the front desk is at 843-671-1400. The resort’s Guest Amenity Card does not come with a Spicebush stay, because the resort is not the landlord. Golf, dining and the beach are still open to you.

• Atlantic Dunes next door, and the first tees of Heron Point and Harbour Town Golf Links within about a mile.

• The Shops at Sea Pines Center, about half a mile, and Harbour Town, a mile or so.

• The Sea Pines Forest Preserve, a short drive.
