Harbour Town Lights in Sea Pines

Harbour Town Lights is the Sea Pines holiday display in Harbour Town: a lit Christmas tree and illuminated figures around the harbour village, switched on every night from the Friday after Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day. In 2026 that runs from Friday, November 27, to Friday, January 1, 2027.

The Tree Lighting

The tree is lit on Friday, November 27, 2026, just before the 7:30 p.m. Thanksgiving concert by Gregg Russell at the Liberty Oak. The concert runs until 9 p.m. and is free. Santa makes an appearance beforehand, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Bring canned goods or new, unwrapped toys: the resort collects them for the Deep Well Project, the volunteer-based island charity that has served the community since 1973.

Seeing the Lights

You do not need a ticket to walk Harbour Town after dark during the season; the lights are free to see. Dinner first makes an easy evening of it: the village has several restaurants around the harbour, and the shops are on the same walk. Harbour Town Christmas, the ornament shop on Lighthouse Road, is open every day.

Later in the Season

Getting There

Harbour Town is at the south end of Sea Pines, behind a gate. Unless you own property there, are a resort guest or have a Sea Pines rental booking, the gate fee is $10 per day for a standard vehicle. Park in the Harbour Town lot and walk to the harbour; the tree stands in the village at 149 Lighthouse Road. On concert night, come early, since the lot fills.
