The Quarterdeck Hilton Head Island: Three Places to Sit
The Quarterdeck restaurant has a first-floor dining room, a wraparound deck outside it, and the rooftop oyster bar with 270-degree views. The deck is the pick on a nice evening, and the resort welcomes dogs on the lower deck. In season there is live music from 4 to 7 p.m., and the upper levels are a sunset spot.

The menu is local seafood and Southern cooking: a full raw bar, charcoal-roasted dishes, and seasonal Lowcountry plates built on South Carolina ingredients, with a wine list that goes from familiar bottles to allocated ones. Lunch runs until 4 p.m. and dinner starts at 4. There is a kids menu and gluten-free options. The Quarterdeck menu itself is on the resort’s site, behind the menu button above. For a panini or an ice cream to go, Quarterdeck Market is inside the same building.
Signature entrées run from $28 for the shrimp and grits to $69 for filet mignon with a charcoal-roasted half lobster, and the Calabash-style fried seafood platters are $27 to $31. The resort also posts dessert, market and kids menus alongside lunch and dinner.

Getting to the Quarterdeck at Harbour Town Lighthouse
The Quarterdeck is the restaurant at the foot of the Harbour Town Lighthouse, so from anywhere around the harbor, walk toward the red-and-white tower. Harbour Town is inside the Sea Pines gate, and there is parking around the harbor. Visitors not staying in Sea Pines pay the gate fee, $10 per day for a standard car.
