Bluff Villas, Hilton Head: Condos on Braddock Cove

Bluff Villas is the complex on the marina side of South Beach, on Braddock Bluff Drive, looking over Braddock Cove and the boats coming in and out of South Beach Marina. The beach is across the street, and the Salty Dog Cafe is a short walk. Bluff Villas in Sea Pines, Hilton Head, usually costs less than the beachfront buildings next door, which is much of its appeal.

The Villas

Units run from one to three bedrooms. The resort’s own Bluff Villas were mostly one-bedroom units sleeping four, with two three-bedrooms sleeping six,, and owners list two-bedrooms too. There is no elevator, so ask for a lower floor if stairs are a problem. Most units look over the cove; a few face the grounds.

The resort’s units ran from about $140 to $490 a night before taxes and fees, less than most beachfront villas at South Beach. None of them allowed pets.

On Site and Nearby

• A complex pool. The resort’s listings mark complex pools closed from October to April, with the deck open.
