The Harbour Town Yacht Club is a private, members-only club on the Harbour Town Yacht Basin in Sea Pines, within sight of the lighthouse. It is not a restaurant or a hotel you can book, and you do not need a boat to belong: members buy into the club and use its suites on the harbour as a second home, along with its private dining and member events.

Harbour Town Yacht Club Membership
The club offers three kinds of membership: equity, social and yacht. Social membership centres on the club’s dining and entertaining; what each of the others includes is set out by the club itself. The suites are studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units looking over the harbour or a courtyard. The club does not publish prices, so ask it directly at 843-671-1400 or through htyc.com.
Visiting the Harbour Town Yacht Club, Hilton Head
If you are not a member or a member’s guest, the club itself is closed to you. The harbour around it is not. The docks, the pier and the lighthouse are open to anyone who has come through the Sea Pines gate ($10 per day for a standard vehicle, unless you are an owner, a resort guest or a Sea Pines renter), and the waterfront restaurants are a few steps away.
