Sea Pines Country Club is Sea Pines Plantation’s private club course, distinct from the resort’s three public golf courses — Harbour Town Golf Links, Atlantic Dunes, and Heron Point. Arnold Palmer and Frank Duane originally designed the course in 1973; architect Clyde Johnston led a full renovation of the tees, greens, and irrigation that reopened in October 2001, with additional practice-facility work by Phil Smith in 2019. Narrow, tree-lined fairways and water on 16 of the 18 holes echo the demanding, tightly routed style of neighboring Harbour Town.
