The Shops at Sea Pines Center, Hilton Head Island, SC, sit at 71 Lighthouse Road, in the middle of the resort rather than at either end. Sea Pines Center is where people staying in Sea Pines go for the everyday things: a coffee, groceries and a bottle of wine, a haircut, the gym, the post office. It is a small, open-air shopping center, not a mall.

Sea Pines shopping on Hilton Head is split between three places: Harbour Town for the marina boutiques, South Beach for the Salty Dog shops, and here for clothing, jewelry, galleries and the practical errands. Sea Pines Center Restaurants

Four places to eat share the center, from coffee to a sit-down dinner. Truffles Cafe is the one for a proper meal, with lunch, dinner and a full bar. Giuseppi’s Pizza does pizza, calzones, subs and pasta, with beer and wine. Lowcountry Produce serves breakfast and lunch, and C’est Bon is the coffee and gelato stop, with pastries, sandwiches and treats for dogs. The Tuesday Farmers & Makers Market

Getting to Sea Pines Center

Enter Sea Pines through the main gate on Greenwood Drive, just off Sea Pines Circle. Stay on Greenwood for about three miles to Fraser Circle, take the first right onto Lighthouse Road, and the center is on your left after two-tenths of a mile.

Day visitors pay the Sea Pines gate fee, $10 per vehicle; the center’s own site still shows the old $9 figure. Some merchants say they will refund the fee when you shop with them, so ask before you count on it. The guest pass office page explains how the pass works.
