Coast is the oceanfront restaurant and bar at the Sea Pines Beach Club, on the first floor of the building with the ocean at its back door. Coast Restaurant Hilton Head: What to Expect
What Coast serves is fresh, local seafood eaten with a view of the water. The kitchen leans on Lowcountry seafood with some Southern touches and Caribbean-inspired flavor, and the raw bar carries a rotating oyster selection and peel-and-eat shrimp. There are also burgers and sandwiches, so not everyone at the table has to want seafood.
The mood is relaxed. Indoor dining asks for shirts and shoes, and the Beach Bar on the lower deck is where beach attire is welcome. The resort says the restaurant was named one of the Top 10 Beach Bars in the South on Southern Living’s 2025 reader-selected list. The kids menu is $11.95 for an entrée, a side and a drink. Lunch runs until 4 p.m. and dinner starts at 4. Coast Oceanfront Dining: Indoors, Patio and Beach Bar
Coast Oceanfront Dining has three settings. Indoors is the sit-down dining room. The patio is outside on the sand side of the building, and dogs are welcome at patio tables. The wraparound Beach Bar is the casual option, with specialty drinks and frozen cocktails, and it is where beachgoers stop in between swims. In season there is live music, listed by the resort from 5 to 8 p.m.

The Coast Restaurant at the Beach Club, and the Ocean Lounge Upstairs
The Sea Pines Beach Club is a building with more than one place to eat in it, and the Coast restaurant at the Beach Club is the ground floor. Upstairs is the Ocean Lounge, which is for guests 21 and over, asks for resort casual dress, and has a bourbon list. The Beach Club also has an event space, the Atlantic Room, which the resort lists as holding up to 130 guests for receptions and weddings.
Gate Fee and Getting There
The Sea Pines gate fee is $10 per day for a standard two-axle vehicle, at the Greenwood Drive gate or the Ocean Gate. Property owners, resort guests, and anyone with a Sea Pines rental reservation skip it. The resort has reimbursed the fee against a minimum food purchase at its restaurants. Sources quote the minimum as $25 or $30, so ask your server what applies on the day you go.
