Sea Pines Harbour Town Pool and South Beach Pool

• Harbour Town Pool: Resort guests and property owners, daily 9 a.m. to sunset
• South Beach Pool: Participating property owners and their guests, summer only
• Lifeguards: None at either pool

The Sea Pines Resort pool is the Harbour Town Pool, next to the Racquet Club, and it is the one most visitors can use. The other pool open to Sea Pines property owners is at South Beach, and that one is for owners and their guests. Which pool you can get into depends on how you are staying, so that is how this page is laid out.

Neither pool has a lifeguard, and both expect children under 16 to be with an adult.

Which Pool Can I Use?

• Staying with The Sea Pines Resort (a resort villa, home or the Inn & Club): the Harbour Town Pool is free with your Guest Amenity Card.

• Sea Pines property owners: the Harbour Town Pool, once your CSA ID has this year’s sticker, and the South Beach Pool if you register as a participating owner.

• Guests of a property owner: either pool, with the owner there. At South Beach, guests without the owner buy a pass.

• Renting through another company: ask your rental company what it includes. The resort’s Recreation Department (843-842-1979) can tell you the options for Harbour Town.

Harbour Town Pool

The Harbour Town Pool is at 1 Lighthouse Lane, beside the Sea Pines Racquet Club and a short walk from Harbour Town. It is a 120-foot freeform pool with a separate kiddie pool, changing rooms, and lounge chairs in both sun and shade. It is open every day from 9 a.m. until sunset, and it is heated in spring and fall.

Sundeck, the snack bar at the pool, sells wraps, hot dogs, ice cream and sodas, with a few alcoholic drinks, plus the things people forget: sunscreen, pool toys, floats and towels. The Blue route of the free Sea Pines trolley stops at the pool in summer.

Some people search for it as the Harbor Town pool; it is the same place. Property owners get their annual pool sticker at the Sea Pines fitness center after signing a waiver.

South Beach Pool, Hilton Head

The South Beach Pool is at South Beach Marina Village, 232 South Sea Pines Drive. It is owned and run by a private company, South Beach Swimming Pool, Inc., and has been since 1999, under an agreement with the CSA that opens it to participating Sea Pines property owners and their guests. Owners must be current on their CSA assessments, register with the pool ahead of time and bring a CSA photo ID.

It is a summer pool: in 2026 it closed for the season at 6 p.m. on September 11. For hours and passes, call the pool’s hotline at 843-290-9584.

Is There a Sea Pines Beach Club Pool?

No. The Sea Pines Beach Club has the ocean, a beach bar and restaurants, but no swimming pool. For a pool day, resort guests go to Harbour Town.

A second resort pool may come later. The Island Packet reported in July 2026 that plans for a redo of the Inn at Harbour Town include a new pool beside the Racquet Club, with construction expected to start in 2027. Nothing has changed yet.
