The Champions Ballroom at the Harbour Town Clubhouse

The Champions Ballroom is the largest room in the Harbour Town Clubhouse, the white, porch-fronted clubhouse of Harbour Town Golf Links in Sea Pines. The Sea Pines Resort uses it for wedding receptions, galas and conferences, with the golf course outside and patios to step out onto on a warm evening.

How Big Is the Champions Ballroom?

It is 4,600 square feet, 97 by 48 feet, with a 16-foot ceiling. The resort quotes up to 250 guests for a wedding reception. Its capacity chart for other layouts lists 330 at banquet tables, 550 theatre-style, 270 classroom-style and 800 for a standing reception. The room has built-in audio-visual equipment, wireless internet and adjustable lighting.

The Rest of the Harbour Town Clubhouse

The clubhouse has smaller rooms for a rehearsal dinner, a brunch or a breakout session: the Heritage Room, the Stewart and Watson rooms, the Irwin and Palmer rooms (which open into one), the Davis Love III Boardroom and the Jack Nicklaus Room, plus a gazebo outside and the Champions Foyer for drinks before dinner. The Inn & Club at Harbour Town, the resort’s 60-room hotel, is a few steps away.

A Wedding at the Champions Ballroom

The ballroom is a reception room, so the ceremony is held somewhere else first. The Liberty Oak in Harbour Town, which takes up to 200 guests, is a short walk away. Getting There

The clubhouse is at 11 Lighthouse Lane in Harbour Town, at the south end of Sea Pines. Guests who are not staying in Sea Pines pay the gate fee, $10 per day for a standard vehicle.
