Sea Pines Golf Packages

Every package includes one round at each course, and a reservations agent calls within two days of booking to set the tee times. Staying guests also get the resort’s guest golf rates and can book tee times earlier than the 90 days the public gets, which matters for Harbour Town in spring and fall.

What costs extra: Harbour Town requires a forecaddie for every tee time, and the recommended $50-a-person tip is not included. The course is cart-path only all year. The Villa package is blacked out during the RBC Heritage, and the Lighthouse package is not sold in summer or on holidays.

Each package plays the same three courses once. Heron Point and Atlantic Dunes share the Plantation Golf Club clubhouse. The private Sea Pines Country Club is not part of any package.

For 16 or more golfers the Lighthouse package is the one to price. It is also the easiest to budget, because it is the only Sea Pines golf package with posted examples: $1,821 a person with four sharing a three-bedroom villa, or $1,974 in a four-bedroom, for four nights and three rounds, taxes and fees included. The group gets a conference services manager, and the organizer plays free.

The Inn and Villa packages are priced by phone, so the only way to know whether one saves money is to compare the quote against a room or villa plus three rounds at guest rates.
