Island Rec All Day Summer Camp

Island Rec, the Town's recreation center at 20 Wilborn Rd: fitness, pool, climbing wall, youth sports, camps and park pavilion bookings.
The Town’s recreation center at 20 Wilborn Road runs the island’s main day camp for kindergarten to 8th grade, from June through August. Doors open at 7:30 am and pick-up runs to 6 pm, with morning drop-off ending at 9. Days mix STEM, art, the pool, the gym, the game room and gaga ball, with field trips and two snacks a day; campers bring their own lunch, a swimsuit and a towel.
It costs $175 a week, with no drop-in days, plus a one-time registration fee of $45 a child or $65 a family. Places are limited and offered in order: families already in Island Rec’s afterschool and vacation clubs, then previous campers, then the email list, first come, first served. Island Rec also runs an adaptive camp for children and teens with disabilities (kindergarten to 5th grade, and 6th to 8th with daily field trips), 8 am to 4 pm at $100 a week; the 2026 camp filled, and 2027 dates had not been set. Arts Center of Coastal Carolina Camps

The Arts Center at 14 Shelter Cove Lane runs summer camps for ages 6 and up; the 2026 season ran from June 8 to July 24. Every camp must be booked online in advance, and a second child from the same family in the same session gets $15 off. Junior Tennis Camps at Van der Meer

Van der Meer runs week-long junior camps for players 12 and up, Monday to Friday with 22.5 hours of drills and match play a week.
