Ridgeland is about 35 minutes from mid-island, and Savannah about an hour and 15 minutes. Savannah’s own Cars & Coffee has met on the first Saturday morning of the month in the Habersham Village shopping center on Habersham Street, so check its group before you drive over.

Beaufort Car Show Club
The Classic Car and Truck Club of Beaufort is for cars and trucks at least 20 years old, from stock classics to street rods, customs, kit cars and sports cars. It holds Friday-evening cruise-ins in the Grayco Hardware parking lot on Sea Island Parkway, Lady’s Island, and shows its cars at parades and events around Beaufort. Track Days Near Hilton Head
Roebling Road Raceway, a 2.02-mile road course near Savannah, is the closest place to drive your own car on a track. Clubs such as the Porsche Club’s Coastal Empire Region, which covers Hilton Head and Savannah, run driver education days there. The track isn’t open to spectators.
