Broad Creek Marina sits on the creek that cuts into the middle of Hilton Head, off Marshland Road, about halfway between the north and south ends of the island. It is a working marina first: boat owners keep their boats here and the fuel dock and ship store serve them. It is also where a good share of the island's boat charters, dolphin tours, parasailing and pontoon rentals leave from, which is why visitors who never own a boat end up here. Most of the island's creek and sound trips load here. Island Head runs pontoon rentals, parasailing and the Daufuskie ferry from the marina, Sky Pirate Parasail sends parasail, jet ski and boat-rental trips out from the same docks, and dolphin cruises, sailing charters and inshore fishing trips leave from the other slips. Eating and Getting to Daufuskie
Up the Creek Pub & Grill is on the marina grounds, so a charter can end with lunch on the water. The marina is also a stop for the Daufuskie Island ferry, and Adventure Hilton Head runs its ziplines from the marina property.
