About the Club

The Carolina Dreamers Car Club is a nonprofit club for anyone who enjoys cars, founded in 1993 and based in Bluffton. It welcomes every kind of vehicle: cars and trucks, domestic and import, stock and modified, from any year. You don’t need a special car to join, just an interest in cars. Members’ dues and the club’s fundraising go to charities around the Lowcountry.

Joining the Club

Membership is open to anyone, and the application is on the club’s website. Members meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Bluffton fire station on U.S. 278 at St. Gregory Drive, and see each other at the cruise-ins in between.

The Annual Charity Car Show

The club’s biggest day is its charity car show, with raffles, a silent auction, food trucks and music. The date and place change from year to year: the 2026 show, the club’s 33rd, was on Sunday, Sept. 6, at Lowcountry Celebration Park on Pope Avenue, near Coligny.

The 2026 show raised money for four local groups: Pockets Full of Sunshine, which teaches life skills to adults with disabilities; The Helianthus Project, which supports survivors of human trafficking; Raskels Rescue, a no-kill dog and cat shelter in Hardeeville; and the Bluffton Community Kitchen, which serves free hot meals and runs a food pantry.
