How this is calculated
Course Handicap = Handicap Index × (Slope ÷ 113) + (Course Rating − Par), rounded to a whole number. For example, a 14.2 index on the Professional tees (75.7 / 140, par 72) is 14.2 × 140 ÷ 113 + (75.7 − 72) = 21.3, which rounds to 21. Some formats and events apply a percentage allowance on top of this number, so check your event’s rules.

The Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes Reviews
Golfers describe a challenging but enjoyable course with views they rate highly, and staff who are professional and kind. The offsetting reports are about consistency: course conditions are sometimes described as poorly maintained, and staff are called inconsistent in how they apply the rules.
