Argent Lakes Golf Course is Sun City Hilton Head’s executive course: 18 holes and par 61, playing 4,150 yards from the Championship tees, on the community’s north side near Hardeeville. The club bills it as the only premier executive course in the Lowcountry, kept in the style of a championship course but built for a short round. The Argent Lakes Golf Clubhouse is also home to a pizza pub. Tee times are for Sun City residents and their guests.

How this is calculated
Course Handicap = Handicap Index × (Slope ÷ 113) + (Course Rating − Par), rounded to a whole number. For example, a 14.2 index on the Championship tees (61.1 / 104, par 61) is 14.2 × 104 ÷ 113 + (61.1 − 61) = 13.2, which rounds to 13. Who Can Play Argent Lakes
Sun City runs its three courses for residents. The club’s tee-time page says resident tee times are not open to the public, and the 2026 rate sheet lists resident golf plans plus a single rate for a resident and an accompanied guest. About the Argent Lakes Executive Course
Twelve of the 18 holes are par 3s, with five par 4s and a single par 5, the 441-yard 13th, so a round takes far less time than a regulation course. The longest par 4 is the 421-yard 9th. From the Championship tees it is rated 61.1 with a slope of 104, and four shorter sets run down to 3,039 yards from the Forward tees.
Women’s ratings run from 59.7 and 100 on the Member tees to 57.4 and 92 on the Forward tees. The card paces a round at under two hours for each nine. The pro shop is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Argent Lakes Golf Clubhouse
The clubhouse shares the course’s address at 1291 Sgt. William Jasper Blvd. and is home to Argent Lakes Pub and Pizzeria, part of the Jameson’s Charhouse family of restaurants, which opened in fall 2020. It has plenty of outdoor seating plus a bar and lounge, and it serves pizza, shared appetizers, local craft beer and cocktails.
