About Crossroads

Crossroads opened in spring 2024, designed by Rob Collins and Tad King of King-Collins Golf Design — the firm behind Sweetens Cove and Landmand — across roughly 60 acres at the center of the Palmetto Bluff community. The course is built as two separate nine-hole routings, The Hammer and The Press, that alternate day to day and can each be played in reverse, so the same nine holes never set up quite the same way twice. Some greens belong to only one routing; others are shared between both. There are no fixed tee markers — golfers choose where to tee off within a marked grass area — and a 34,000 square-foot putting green near the first tee, nicknamed the “Himalayas,” gives the whole layout a links-golf feel drawn from courses like St Andrews. “It’s a golf course that’s never going to play the same one day to the next,” designer Rob Collins has said of the routing.

Crossroads Golf Course, Palmetto Bluff Access

Crossroads is a private course reserved for Palmetto Bluff Golf Club members and their guests, with limited access for guests staying at Montage Palmetto Bluff. It’s one of three golf courses inside the Palmetto Bluff community, alongside the Jack Nicklaus-designed May River Golf Club and the members-only Anson Point.
