Freedom Boat Club on Hilton Head Island
A boat club with a Hilton Head fleet at Skull Creek Marina: members reserve a boat when they want one instead of owning it.
- Where: Skull Creek Marina
- How it works: membership, boats reserved by app
- Own a boat?: no
Freedom Boat Club is a national boat club, and its Hilton Head fleet is kept at Skull Creek Marina on the island’s north side. A membership lets you reserve a boat from the fleet when you want one, without buying, storing or maintaining a boat of your own.
Is a Boat Club Right for a Visit?
A boat club is a membership, not a day rental, so it suits people who plan to be on the water often: locals, second-home owners and long-stay families. If you only want a boat for an afternoon, pontoon and boat rentals by the hour or day are simpler, and a captained charter needs no boating experience. Ask the club about membership terms and the boats in its fleet.
