Ace Hardware on Hilton Head Island

Ace Hardware of Hilton Head is the largest hardware store on the island, on Northridge Drive just off William Hilton Parkway at the north end, a few minutes from the bridges. It carries the full Ace range: tools and power equipment, including Stihl blowers and trimmers, paint, plumbing and electrical parts, grills and Big Green Egg cookers, garden and pest supplies, and keys cut while you wait. Shoppers also come in for beach sun shades and other vacation gear.

Most locals use it to save the drive to the Home Depot or Lowe’s in Bluffton, 20 minutes or more each way. Prices run a little higher than the big-box stores, and the trade-off is a staff that greets you at the door and walks you to the aisle. Hours and Location

The store is open Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 8 to 5 and Sunday 9 to 3, so it is one of two island hardware stores open on Sunday. It sits on Northridge Drive, off William Hilton Parkway, with its own parking lot. Online orders can be picked up in the store.
