TidePointe Hilton Head: Living There
TidePointe is a continuing care retirement community on 63 acres beside Broad Creek, mid-island, a short drive from Sea Pines Circle. Vi, which has run senior-living communities since 1987 and now has ten, operates it. Members choose from ten floor plans across apartments and cottages, with dining, a bar and lounge, and a full program of activities and exercise classes.
How Membership Works
Vi describes TidePointe as a Type C community. Members pay an entrance fee to join and a monthly fee for independent living, and if they need care later they pay for it as they use it, at fee-for-service rates, with priority access to a bed.
