Seabrook Hilton Head: Living There

The Seabrook of Hilton Head opened in October 1982 and is run as a nonprofit, the only one of the island’s three continuing care retirement communities that is. It sits on wooded grounds on Woodhaven Drive near Sea Pines Circle, around a pond with a fountain and a gazebo, a few minutes from the south-end beaches and shops. Residents live in independent-living apartments, with dining and activities on site.

Fraser Health Center

Fraser Health Center is The Seabrook’s own health center, on the same campus: 33 Medicare-certified beds for skilled nursing, long-term care, short-term rehab and memory care. It is where a resident moves if they need more care than their apartment allows.
