What the Bluffton ReStore Sells
A Habitat ReStore is a thrift store for the house itself. The Bluffton ReStore, at 18 Plantation Park Drive, sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, electronics, home goods and surplus building materials at a discount, with new stock out every day: on a typical visit, rows of dining sets and chairs, lamps, glassware and seasonal decor, doors and cabinets, and the odd piano. It is the place to look for a solid-wood table, a spare fridge or the materials to finish a small project.
The store is run by Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry, and the money it raises helps build affordable homes in Beaufort and Jasper counties. It is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Lowcountry affiliate’s other ReStore is in Beaufort, at 612 Parris Island Gateway.
Donating to the ReStore
The ReStore takes furniture, appliances and building materials that would otherwise go to the landfill, and donations are tax-deductible. Bring them during opening hours; drop-off ends at 3 p.m. each day the store is open. For bigger loads, call (843) 757-9995 to schedule a free pickup.
