The Sauls family has run funeral homes in the Lowcountry for generations. The business began in Ridgeland in the early 1900s and took the Sauls name in the late 1930s, and the family opened its Bluffton, SC, home in 2000 at 90 Simmonsville Road: a 10,000-square-foot funeral home with a chapel and its own crematory, on 53 acres shared with the Low Country Memorial Gardens cemetery.
