The Bluffton Police Department is the Town of Bluffton’s own police force, unlike Hilton Head Island, which contracts with the county Sheriff. Its officers patrol the town, from Old Town and the May River to the neighborhoods and shopping centers along Buckwalter Parkway and US 278, answer calls and investigate crimes.
Headquarters is at 101 Progressive Street, off Buckwalter Parkway near Buckwalter Place.
