Publix Pharmacy on Hilton Head Island
Of the two Publix stores on Hilton Head, only Festival Centre, at 45 Pembroke Drive on the north end, has a pharmacy. It is near the bridges, Main Street and Hilton Head Plantation. The pharmacy counter is open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 to 7 and Sunday 11 to 6; call it on (843) 689-2276. The store around it is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.

The Island Crossing Publix Has No Pharmacy
The south-end Publix at Island Crossing, 11 Palmetto Bay Road by Sea Pines Circle, has no pharmacy. If you are staying in Sea Pines, Coligny or Shipyard, the closer counters are Walgreens in the same centre and CVS on Pope Avenue, or drive 15 to 20 minutes north to Festival Centre.
Transferring a Prescription to Publix on Vacation
Call the pharmacy before you travel, or once you arrive, with your prescription details and your home pharmacy’s name and phone number, and ask them to transfer it. A refill from another Publix is the simplest move. Leave a day for it to come through, longer over a weekend. Publix also lists curbside pickup at this pharmacy; ask for it when you call.
