Publix Hilton Head means two stores, at opposite ends of the island. Island Crossing, at 11 Palmetto Bay Road by Sea Pines Circle, is the south-end store for Sea Pines, Forest Beach and Shipyard rentals, open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Festival Centre, at 45 Pembroke Drive in Indigo Park, is the north-end store for Port Royal, Hilton Head Plantation and the bridges, open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
There is no Publix at Coligny; the Island Crossing store is the closest, about five minutes' drive. Shoppers at both praise the produce, the bakery and the deli: the Pub subs and fried chicken are what most people come back for.
Only the Festival Centre store has a pharmacy, (843) 689-2276, open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 to 7 and Sunday 11 to 6. If you need a prescription transferred for your stay, send it to the north-end store, or to the pharmacy at Harris Teeter or Kroger.

Publix HHI stores sell beer and wine every day, Sunday included. There is no Publix Liquors on the island; each store has an independent liquor store beside it, Rollers at Island Crossing and Island Spirits & Fine Wines at Festival Centre, both closed on Sunday by state law.
South end, by Sea Pines Circle
The south-end Publix, a few minutes from Sea Pines, Coligny and Shipyard. No pharmacy. Rollers Wine & Spirits is next door.
North end, Indigo Park
The north-end Publix, near the bridges and Hilton Head Plantation, and the island's only Publix pharmacy. Island Spirits & Fine Wines shares the centre.
