Both have drive-thru pharmacy windows and close the pharmacy for lunch from 1:30 to 2. The pharmacy counters keep shorter hours than the stores: Pope Avenue’s closes at 7 p.m. on weekdays and Mathews Drive’s at 8, so after that you can buy over-the-counter medicine but not pick up a prescription.
If you are a CVS customer at home, your prescriptions are already in the system: ask either Hilton Head store to fill a refill here, or move it in the CVS app. From another chain, call the island store with your home pharmacy’s number and allow a few hours. CVS also offers same-day delivery from both stores.
The MinuteClinic inside the Pope Avenue store is staffed by nurse practitioners for minor illnesses, vaccines and physicals.
