Lockstar Escape is an escape room business at 70 Pennington Drive in Bluffton, in the Village at Sheridan Park plaza behind the Sonic on US 278. Every booking is a private game for your group alone, so a family or a group of friends never gets paired with strangers. It is one of the best rainy-day plans on either side of the bridges.

The Rooms

  • The Rat Trap. You are undercover FBI agents with one hour to find a crime family’s records hidden in the Wise Pies pizzeria.

  • Lost Souls. A haunted-motel game at the Miss Fortune Motel, where trapped souls must be freed before the building comes down. It follows an earlier room, The Inncreeper, but plays on its own.

Both rooms take up to 8 players and play best with 3 to 6. Two people can play at the three-player price, but the games are hard for a pair unless both have done escape rooms before. Regulars praise the themes and puzzles, and say the game masters give a nudge when a team is stuck.

Booking, Prices and Arriving

Games are by appointment, Tuesday through Sunday, on a set schedule through the day. Book online ahead of time; the price is $35 a person with three or more players. Arrive 10 minutes before your start time. Gift vouchers start at $25, and the lobby sells puzzle games to take home. For team-building or a party, call (843) 757-8727.
