Kingston Cove is a short street of rental homes in Shipyard on Hilton Head Island, off Kingston Road on the community’s west side. Most are three-bedroom, two-bath houses that sleep up to eight, set on the lagoons with screened porches, and the street has its own pool.
It is one of the Shipyard rentals we cover. Its neighbor Kingston Dunes has larger houses, some with private pools, nearer the beach end.

The Kingston Cove Pool
The community pool is open daily from April through October, and its sundeck stays open all year. For the ocean, the Shipyard Beach Club is under a mile away, an easy bike ride on Shipyard’s paths.

Homes are rented by their owners and by local rental companies, and many are on Vrbo. Pet rules, bedding and parking vary, so check each listing. Shipyard is gated. Whoever you book with authorizes a pass for your stay, which you pick up at the Pope Avenue gate or the US 278 gate, and staying inside the gate gives you use of the Shipyard Beach Club.
