Nash Gallery is a fine-craft gallery at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina, showing work by artisans from the United States and Canada: blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, metal, wood and furniture. Every artist it represents shows with Nash alone on Hilton Head, and the stock changes through the year, with pieces at most price points. The staff will tell you how a piece was made and who made it.
It has been in one family since 1989, when it opened as The Trilogy Gallery. Lynn Alexander, whose family founded it, bought it with her husband Dale in 2003, and she and the gallery’s team run it today.
Each Memorial Day weekend the gallery and the Shelter Cove Merchants Association host the Hilton Head Art Festival along the harbour promenade: about 70 artists in pottery, glass, wood, jewelry, metal, painting and photography, with free admission.
