HH Prime at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort
HH Prime is the steakhouse at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort, at 23 Ocean Lane inside Palmetto Dunes. It is the Omni’s main restaurant: a breakfast buffet for hotel guests in the morning, then a steak-and-seafood dinner menu from 6 p.m., in a room with fireplaces, a short walk from the beach. Anyone can book a table, not just people staying at the hotel.
The HH Prime Menu
Dinner is built around hand-cut USDA Prime beef. The butcher’s block runs from an 8-ounce filet and a 12-ounce New York strip to a 22-ounce Kansas City bone-in strip and a 23-ounce cowboy ribeye, with a New Zealand lamb rack and a veal porterhouse for anyone not eating beef. You can add a cold water lobster tail, an Oscar topping, bone marrow butter or a Clemson blue cheese crust.
The seafood side has Lowcountry she crab soup, a griddled crab cake, a calamari and artichoke starter, diver scallops with crispy pork belly, and a fresh catch that changes. Sides are meant for sharing: French onion frites, smoked goat cheese whipped potatoes, Irish cheddar mac and cheese and a creamed corn succotash. The menu marks gluten-friendly dishes, and a sweet potato gnocchi is the vegan main. Expect steakhouse prices; this is one of the most expensive dinners on the island.

Book dinner online through OpenTable or by phone, especially on summer weekends and holidays. Palmetto Dunes is gated, and the Omni’s visitors get their passes at the South Gate, so if you are coming only for dinner, mention your reservation there. The resort has parking.
