The Hampton Place Buildings
The two buildings are five stories, with elevators and a parking garage, so luggage and groceries are not a stair climb. The complex has a private gym, a pavilion and a barbecue area. Units are individually owned and furnished, so the bedrooms, updates and pet rules vary from one to the next; some are listed as pet friendly and some are not.
Pools and the Beach
The oceanfront pool is the centerpiece and is heated seasonally, and there is a separate lap pool, a kiddie pool and a hot tub. A private boardwalk runs from the complex to the beach, and the three miles of sand at Palmetto Dunes are open to walk in either direction.
Hampton Place Location in Palmetto Dunes
Hampton Place is on the south side of the resort, close to the south security gate, so it is a short drive to the shopping and dining at Shelter Cove as well as to the amenities inside Palmetto Dunes. Golf, tennis, pickleball and the lagoons are all inside the resort, and the Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Course is one of the three courses.
