Barrington Court is the oceanfront building of the three Barringtons in Palmetto Dunes, Hilton Head. It is five stories, with an elevator and a garage, and the operator says every villa has a balcony facing the ocean. A boardwalk leads to the beach.

Pool and Beach at Barrington Court
The building is served by an on-site spa that connects to the private oceanfront pool the three Barringtons share. A private boardwalk runs to the beach, part of about three miles of sand at Palmetto Dunes.
How Court Differs From Arms and Park
The pool and beach access are shared, and the view is what changes. Barrington Arms is the building next to the pool, with a mix of oceanfront and ocean-view units, and Barrington Park looks over ponds and the resort. Court is the one where every balcony faces the ocean.
Who Rents Barrington Court and Elevator Work
Units are rented by the resort’s own program and by independent companies. The resort’s minimum stay is three to seven nights or more. The operator plans to take the elevator out of service for about eight weeks starting in January 2027, with a return expected in March 2027, and says the dates are estimates. Ask about it if you book for that stretch.

Guests praise the ocean views and the easy walk to the beach, and one calls the beach wide open in July with warm water and no seaweed. The grounds are well kept, the pool area has a shower and bathrooms, and kids like the pond with its fish, turtles and a resident alligator. Repeat guests say they come back every year. The complaints are practical: the steps to the beach have no ramps, the garage gets tight, and one guest found the elevator out on both arrival and departure days.
