Staying right inside the ocean gate means the shops and restaurants outside it, on the Forest Beach side, are close, while the beach is a short bike ride down the street. Canvasback is a quiet cross street of mid-size pool homes, three to five bedrooms each, all with a private pool and two with a hot tub.

Who Rents Homes on Canvasback Road

The homes are owned individually and rented by four local companies, so the minimum stay, pet rules and pool-heat charges differ from house to house. Two of the pools are heated.

Gate Passes

Book through The Sea Pines Resort and the front desk at the Welcome Center checks you in and gives you two passes. Other rental companies buy passes for each home ahead of time and send them to you.
